Building Business Relationships – “Partnership is not a posture but a process – a continuous process that grows stronger each year as we devote ourselves to common tasks.”
– John F. Kennedy
At American Forklift Center, Inc. we are committed to not only helping our students learn how to safely and properly operate a forklift, and subsequently earn their forklift certification, but as you may already know, we are committed to helping our community. We know that receiving your forklift certification is one thing, but actually finding a job as a forklift operator is another. We know how it can be frustrating to search for jobs, contact one company or agency after another, complete and submit one application after the other (to just be placed on a pile with other applicants), as well as build business relationships to network with.
We know how it can be scary when you have a family to support, bills to pay, and time is running out – yet no one is calling.
We get it and that is why when we launched American Forklift Center, Inc. we took a vow to be more than your typical forklift school. We promised that we would focus on a holistic approach where we would help connect our students with the companies and agencies hiring. We would help our students eliminate all the necessary leg work and consequent stress, as we vouched to present our students to these agencies ourselves.
Accordingly, we want to help you, our student, find a job in the forklift industry via getting in front of hiring managers, by sending your information out to hundreds of So Cal agencies hiring directly. We also invite and accommodate these agencies to host job fairs at our location for YOU to network, present your resume, and/or have an interview with.
As you may have seen in our previous blogs, we’ve saved you over 200 hours worth of work – so you no longer have to fill out endless pages of job applications. You no longer need to drive from agency to agency, seeking an open position. You no longer need to manually apply to each forklift job opening. We help our graduates with this and more!
That all said, we are a firm believer in giving value first, and then asking for business.
Accordingly, that’s why our forklift training programs are greatly hands-on and comprehensive. Not only do we want our students to graduate with the confidence, skills, and knowledge on how to correctly operate a forklift, BUT we want to make sure that we are offering a benefit to our hiring companies/agencies. We want hiring companies to know, that our students not only are successfully forklift certified, but they have the expertise in avoiding damaging equipment and products, reducing workplace risks, as well as working efficiently to help their employers save costs.
Second, to nurture our business relationships, we consistently put in a lot of footwork. From Anaheim and Cerritos, to Hollywood, Torrance, and Carson – we frequently visit our hundreds of partnerships personally to keep the partnerships strong for our students. We continue to build and strengthen our business relationships to in turn help YOU, now and in the future.
On a side note, we’re not complaining by any means in respect to the constant work required to maintain our partnerships and business relationships, as we are so grateful for each relationship we have built. We just want to take a second and help you rest assure that as our student, we have YOUR back.
Whether you’re looking to start a new career as a forklift operator, looking for a job closer to home, or seeking a higher paying position, American Forklift Training Centers, INC. is dedicated to bringing you the opportunities you need.
